Ajaokuta Federal Lawmaker, Honorable Sanni Egidi Abdulraheem, made his first official visit to the office of Dr. Habiba Onumoko, the newly appointed Accountant General of the state.
The Federal Lawmaker extended his congratulations to the first female Accountant General of the state and expressed his confidence in her ability to excel in her new role.
Hon. Sanni Egidi highlighted Dr. Habiba’s extensive experience in various public offices, emphasizing that her past roles have prepared her well for the responsibilities of the State Accountant General.
The lawmaker commended the former Executive Governor of the state, Alh Yahaya Bello for appointing Dr. Habiba and praised the current Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, for maintaining this appointment aimed at injecting innovation into the state’s financial affairs.
In response, Dr Habiba Onumoko expressed her gratitude for the visit from the Ajaokuta House of Representative and encouraged Hon Sanni Egidi to continue sharing valuable advice to guide her in her new position.
“She acknowledged the Federal Lawmaker’s financial expertise, citing his tenure as the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs as evidence of his wealth of experience.
During their meeting, both financial experts engaged in fruitful discussions aimed at benefiting the incumbent administration of Gov. Ahmed Ododo. The exchange of ideas and insights between Hon Sanni Egidi and Dr. Habiba is expected to contribute to the enhancement of financial management practices in the state.
In another development, The Ajaokuta Federal Lawmaker visited the wife of Late Mr Haruna fondly called “Black Arrow” in Ganaja Village. He sympathizes with the family of the deceased and pledged to grant his wife and son all the support needed to transverse the journey of life
