The Member representing Ajaokuta Federal Constituency in the National Assembly, Hon. Sanni Egidi Abdulraheem has released the sum of Five Hundred Thousand Naira (N500,000) as counterpart fund payment to a community development Association in Ajaokuta Federal Constituency called Adogo Community Development Association (ACDA).
The counterpart fund, as required by the World Bank Community Assisted Projects is in collaboration with the Kogi State Community And Social Development Agency, Kogi-CSDA is meant for an approved construction of a motorized borehole water system and the construction of a Health Dispensary facility in Adogo community of Ajaokuta LGA of Kogi state.
Hon. Sanni Abdulraheem, while presenting the cheque to the Association at his Lokoja residence on Monday, April 22, 2024, assured the group that he will continue to stand as a tool for development in all ramification.
The lawmaker added that, his programmes and policies as the House of Representatives Member, representing the good people of Ajaokuta Federal Constituency is to continue to access and explore all avenues to bring succour to his people and that is why he will always commit resources to laudable projects that are meant to bring good life for the people.
He, however, urge the Association to be transparent in the execution of the projects and be committed to the development of the community.
Responding to this kind gesture by Hon. Sanni Abdulraheem, the President of Adogo Community Development Association, Otunba James Irikiti Ogah thanked the Lawmaker for his continued positive approach to issues of development of his community which has been his trademark over the years even before he was elected to the National Assembly.
The ACDA President further assured that when the World Bank/KCSDA counterpart fund arrives, the Association will effectively utilize the fund under the supervision of Kogi-CSDP to provide the prescribed project for the community.
