The Chairman of Stakeholders of Ododo/Joel Campaign Organization in Lokoja-Kogi (koto) Federal Constituency along with Senator Sunday Karimi, speaker of the kogi state House of Assembly has called on supporters and party loyalists to be steadfast and remain committed to ensuring the victory of the Governorship candidate of the All Progressive’s Congress, (APC), Ahmed Usman Ododo.

The chairman of Ododo/Joel campaign organization, Hon. Suleman Baba Ali who addressed party supporters in koton-Karfe, Kogi local government area on Sunday, said the two Local Government Areas, has everything in common, saying it’s like brides who shared ancestral home, he urged the party supporters to work assiduously for the victory of APC come November 11 2023.

The Chairman said they need to fashion ways of effectively campaigning for the ruling party as the November 11 gubernatorial election draws near.

He said the coming Governorship election will be like a healthy competition between Lokoja-Kogi, waiting to see which local government will have the highest number of votes for APC at the end of the election.

Hon. Baba Ali further noted that it would be a development that would propel party leaders and members in both local government areas to join in making history.

He therefore advised that they should not be dissuaded by the antics and propaganda from the opposition,” we should not be carried away by the blackmail and propaganda by the opposition parties, we cannot afford to belong to the opposition in the state”,he appealed.

He therefore promised the people that unlike the past, the leadership of APC has learnt from what had transpired in the past, stressing that they would ensure that the dividend of democracy is adequately provided.

Those stakeholders in attendance were the vice chairman of the forum, Hon. Saidu Akawu Salihu; the Senator representing Kogi West Senatorial District, Senator Sunday Karimi; the State Commissioner for Solid Minerals and Natural Resources, Engr Abubakar Bashir Gegu .

Others are the Chairman of Lokoja Local Government Area. Hon Muhammed Dan’Asabe Muhammed and his Kogi Local Government counterpart, leaders of the party in the two Local Government Areas, Assembly members from the two Local Government Areas, Hon Bin-Ebaiya Tijjani and Hon Idris Aliyu.
