Abuga/Ozuja Ward Rally: APC Stakeholders, Opinion Leaders Promise More Commitment to Ododo’s Victory

Stakeholders, opinion leaders and members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Abuga/Ozuja Ward, Okene Local Government Area have today restated their commitment to massively vote for Alhaji Ododo Ahmed Usman (OAU) in the forthcoming governorship election.

They gave the assurance in a well-attended mini-rally held in Abuga Ward which has yet affirmed non-existence of opposition parties in the area.

In a welcome address, the APC Ward Chairman of Abuga/Ozuja, Hon. Abdulkareem Sadiq appreciated all the leaders of the ward for the support granted to the party executives which he said has resulted in the smooth running of all party’s affairs

The Chairman admonished the people to come out en-mass on the November 11 to demonstrate their numerical strength at the poll. He added that the summation of the polling unit results will place the ward higher amidst other APC wards in Kogi State, just as he tasked everyone to work beyond their Polling Unit to ensure all-round victory for the party.

In her remarks, Hajiya Habibat Onumoko who is the Permanent Secretary Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, highlighted the achievements of Gov Bello in terms of women empowerment and human capital development.

She urged women to intensify their support for the candidate of the governing All Progressives Congress, assuring them that Alh Ododo will never deviate from the GYB standards of prioritizing the interest of Kogi women.

The Supervisor for Budget and Planning for Okene Local Government, Hon Lukman Abdullahi appreciate His Excellency Governor Yahaya Bello for the opportunity given to several of Okene’s sons and daughters in occupying juicy positions in the last 7 years of his administration.

“Gov Bello’s signatures are everywhere in Okene Local Govenernment, as if these were not enough, he permitted a level playing ground during the APC primary election that produced Alhaji Ododo Ahmed Usman that will consolidate on his legacy projects.

“I urge everyone of you to deepen your commitment in mobilising voters to ensure we deliver bulk votes in appreciation of all the good work of Alh Yahaya Bello”, he added.

Other speakers at the rally who expressed confidence in Alhaji Ododo’s ability to deliver credible governance were former Speaker of Kogi State House of Assembly, Alh. Momojimoh Lawal Kennedy; Chairman of Local Government Civil Service Commission, Adabenege Adams; Zakari Nescafe (Present House of assembly Okene 2), Hon. Mutari Bello, Suleiman Dauda (Hi-speed) and Director-General of Pension Board, Hajia Mariam Ozoma Ahmed.
