Kogi State House of Assembly has reiterated it’s commitment towards performing their constitutional responsibilities in ensuring that there is progress and development in the State.

PRO, SUBEB, the statement was made by the Chairman House Committee on Education Hon Idris Aliyu Maikudi during an oversight function to Kogi State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) on Tuesday.
The Chairman who noted that the Assembly should not be seen as a witch – hunt rather, to correcting the anomalies that may likely occur in the course of performing their duties
Hon Idris thereby commended the appointment of Mallam Engr Abdulrazaq Muhammed Yusuf as the Board’s Chairman and said he is a technocrat with wide range of experiences that should be brought to bear in improving the Basic Education Sector better than the way he met it.
He also noted that the Assembly is a Partner in progress that is always focused at strategizing in collaborating with critical stakeholders to see to the progress and development of the State.
Appreciating the humane disposition of the Executive Chairman of SUBEB to the plights of masses, the Chairman House Committee on Education urged the Management and staff of the Board to cooperate with him and remain focused as election has come and ended.
In his response, the Executive Chairman SUBEB, Mallam Engr Abdulrazaq Muhammed Yusuf appreciated the visit and promised to remain committed in discharging his statutory duties objectively.
