The Member representing Ajaokuta Federal Constituency in the National Assembly, Hon. Sanni Egidi Abdulraheem, has expressed shock over the demise of
Ustaz Zakarriyah Yusuf of Adogo ward, Ajaokuta Local Government Area, after a protracted illness.
He was said to have died in the early hours of March 17, 2024, after protracted illness.
Reacting to the unfortunate loss of the Islamic scholar, Representative Sanni Abdulraheem described the incident as a ‘rude shock and unfortunate’ owing to the incredible religious activities, community development and human relation activities of the late Islamic scholar.
In a condolence message to the family of the deceased, Representative Sanni Abdulraheem console them to take solace in Almighty Allah who is the giver and taker of life because from Allah we come and to him,we will all return.
In the words of the congressman, “with heavy heart and sorrow, i send my condolences to the Transition Chairman of Ajaokuta LGC, immediate family members of the deceased, the Ajaokuta Muslim ummah and the entire people of Ajaokuta LGA over the loss of a great son. I pray that Almighty Allah, in his infinite mercy will forgive his shortcomings and grant him a place in Janaat Firdaus.”
Ustaz Zakarriyah Yusuf, who has been laid to final rest according to Islamic rites, untill his demise, was the HOD in charge of Health Department, Ajaokuta LGA. He is survived with wife and children.
